The Beginning Of Horse Mountain
On a dark, cold windy night a pinto mare, Foxy and her foal, Lilly were searching for a place to get out of the wind, they just got kicked out of their herd and needed shelter. They wandered in the darkness for hours searching and searching....but found nothing, but Foxy wouldnt give up, she kept searching not realizing that they were heading up a mountain, but luckily a small one. They couldnt find anywhere to get out of the storm until Lilly fell into a hole, it wasnt that deep but deep enough to shelter them from the wind of the storm.
When the day came it was a bright sunny warm morning, there was dew on the bright green grass and there were tall elegant trees giving shade in some spots, and a pond, so clear that the mare and filly could see her self rippling in the water. The storm was over and the day was great, they stayed there for a while, then didnt want to leave. Later on thet finally decided on a name for the place, Horse Mountain, the best place ever!
